A first official teaser trailer of Hop has been released online:
Universal and Illumination Entertainment are working on Hop, an upcoming movie revolving around a guy who has to replace a crippled Easter Bunny in order to save Easter. The movie Hop is both live action and CGI (like Alvin and the Chipmunks). Director Tim Hill is in charge of the project and Actor Russell Brand will lend his voice to the Easter Bunny. The movie Hop will be released on April 1, 2011.
Here's a first smallish official movie poster of Hop, it was spotted at the Licensing International Expo:
Plot:
"Fred (James Marsden), an out-of-work slacker, runs over the Easter Bunny (Russel Brand) while driving home late. Since the bunny can't hop with a broken leg, the slacker is pressed into duty to save Easter. The film becomes a two-hander between the iconic holiday critter and the slacker, each of whom is running from adulthood."
